Then went to a house which is located at Birch Lane to get my eyebrows stringed.
This is interesting as she uses just a normal sewing thread to trim eyebrows. Her name is Kalpana (a young Indian woman)



At first was ok.




Then, started feeling a bit painful already.




After a while, I noticed myself having tears in my eyes. haha... So, Kalpana gave me some tissues to wipe it off.




Actually I only want to string my eyebrows which cost me RM6 and she also asked me to string my "sexy" moustache away by adding RM1 only. haha... Then i agreed! hehe... cheap rite?
Ohh... OWww... I am a woman. Am I weird having a moustache? LOL... funny

Wat's wrong with me??? oh my gosh... now the time strikes to 5.20AM!!!! and now i am stil so AWAKE!!! awake with my blink blink eyes... this is so bad. I just drank a few mouthfuls of coffee at dinner just now and the caffeine did a wonderous job. LoL... hate it!!! Hello caffeine, can you help me to stay awake during my exams when i'm burning the midnite oil? Oh well, fine. All I want now is go to bed now and SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP like a pig. Tomorrow or i should say today, is SUNDAY. I do have to attend church service. Hey bloggers/ visitors, do u mind to share with me " What do u do during midnight when u couldn't fall asleep? " I did many things to help myself but they just couldn't work. (such as reading books, watching TV, thinking, talking to myself? haha... ) Argh... i couldn't think of it anymore. I am insane. Yesh, i am. hahahaha...
This mirror is actually hang in my bro's bedroom 1 but dunno y la... my mum was thinking : "Where should i hang this?" as there is no one stays in the room and she also have asked me have any idea? I said i dunno. Then she decided in front of the bathroom. It's at a strategic place which everyone must walk through here and this girl will definitely stop and look at the mirror for a while. lol... sial d. That's why la... it made her become narcissistic. haha=)

a new kopitiam aka "cafe" with different variety stall of food. got western food, thai food, japanese food, malaysian food (Sarawak) and of course Penang food!!! haha... Besides, there are some mini shops selling t-shirts, bags, jewelleries, etc. when u walk in to the dining area.

Spaghetti Day but i failed

Spaghetti Day!!!

I was quite excited that day. The day that I am going to cook again^^ haha...
but lastly "I FAILED" too bad >.<
i din take any pictures coz no mood d ma...
nvm la, i will cook something else next time but not spaghetti anymore
I will cook dishes that my mum knows. Not western dish la...
Any dish that she has the skill in it. yea...
Must learn so that i will know how to cook them in the future.
loL... sounds so AUNTY man... haha =)

when's the opening??

9th of May
went to Penang Times Square just for a promenade and also check out a few new shops that had officially openned. nah... nothing much. Just some eateries like Haven Delights (this 1 attracted me), The White House, Marrybrown, Gasoline, Roti Bakar Kopitiam n etc... Anyway, the stucture inside is not very nice, not really like it actually. okok nia lo... haha!!!

process of cooking porridge

eh, This is not MAMASAK!!! This is called MEMASAK ok??? wakakaka..... serious la
Dunno when i have that kinda interest to cook. My previous time to cook was in Form 4/5. My KH teacher taught us a lot in school, then i am so crazzy about it. So, i did some cookies, spaghetti, cakes at home. haha...

Here we go... my first dish of cooking in this holiday is Chicken and Fish Porridge.




Minced garlic




I took some time to think about how to chop this ginger?




Yup, i cut it into sheds.




Dice the green shallots




Saute the minced garlic as well as the shreadded garlic




Argh... the harsh smell irritate my eyes and nose. haha...
Can't even open my eyes but still continue to saute until it turns golden color.




A piece of chicken meat and two slices of fish meat
Mum taught me how to clean them. Throw away the chicken skin and wash with water, and use salt to clean the fish to get rid of the fishy smell




Mum cut the fish into pieces and I cut the chicken meat into thin pieces




Then pour one teaspoon of sesame oil for each and mix it




Cook the rice with lotsa water (moderately)
Mum put in two fish bones into the porridge to make it sweeter. wow!!!




When it boils, add in those meats, garlic (half of it, another half you can add it when serve) and ginger.




Hmmm.... YUM.. YUMM... =P
Porridge is ready with my effort inside. hehehehe.... *smiles happily*
